ELK FARM
On location shoots are improvisational and this one was no different in the best of ways. Plan as you might, sometimes kids don't smile and they get very cold, and ice falls from the sky causing a rough drive in, and the darn elk just won't do what you want. But for all of the audible calling and quick pivots we had to make to get these shots, we got gently falling snow. Now, that was nice surprise.
